Abstract
The recent global financial crisis affected almost all aspect of human life. This paper explored effects of the global financial crisis on farmers' income, remittance and prices of food staples and highlighted certain government policy responses. The study was conducted in Nigeria. Secondary data were used. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, equivalent variation and Shannon index analysis. Results showed the global financial crisis affected the agrarian households/sector in Nigeria. The increase in prices meant more nominal income to farmers but grossly reduced their welfare due to decrease in real income as result of high inflation trend. Recommendations include that government should continue to sustain agrarian programs aimed at helping poor farmers to increase their capacity in production to meet the growing demand and changes. In both cases, the disturbed age structure has a reverse effect on the movement of the population (the size of reproductive contingent), but also to all other structures of the population (the size of contingent employment, population, compulsory school contingent, contingent dependent population ratio). Rating natural conditions aimed at separation of homogenous territorial units with some degree of benefits and limitations types of economic development.

Abstract
This paper investigates the technical efficiency of sorghum production and its determinants, using the stochastic frontier production function which incorporates a model of inefficiency effects. Farm level data were collected from a sample of 100 sorghum farmers in Hong local government area of Adamawa state using structured questionnaires. The empirical result shows that land, seed, and fertilizer were the major factors that influence changes in sorghum output. Farm specific variables such as education, extension contact and household size were found to have significant effects on the technical inefficiency among the sorghum producers. The technical efficiency of farmers varied from 0.1562 to 0.9214 with a mean technical efficiency of 0.7262. The implication of the study is that efficiency in sorghum production among the farmers could be increased by 28% through better use of land, seed and fertilizer in the short term given the prevailing state of technology. This could be achieved through policy interventions by the government in terms of better access to land, improved seed and fertilizer .The inefficiency effect also shows that improved farmer's educational levels through better education and literacy campaigns would help tremendously to increase efficiency.

Abstract
In article questions of determination of life quality, criteria of life quality, essential parties of an objective and subjective technique of an assessment of life quality are considered. The main approaches to an assessment of life quality are allocated, offered a number of requirements to which the modern technique of an assessment of life quality should answer. The cluster analysis of rural territories of the Oreol region on the main indicators of quality of life is carried out. The depressive rural municipalities of the region demanding the greatest support are designated.

Abstract
Justification is given to a technique of application for standards of an expense of resources on conventional unit of complexity and time expenses for services of livestock technical service with a view of economy of resources. Definition of expenses of working hours assumes preliminary studying and an assessment of methods and ways of performance of work, design of rational production technologies of cattle-breeding production, production and work organization. In the countries with the developed market economy methodological and material base for rationing of work of workers is created. A wide circulation receive methods of linear programming, the multiple-factor regressive analysis, versions of statistical methods for expenses studying. In this research material inputs are defined on standard to forming factors with application of the regressive analysis.

Abstract
The obtained data allow to argue about existence of close correlation between the content in milk of somatic cages and existence in it various compound substances. The raised number of somatic cages as the most sensitive indicator, allows to catch changes in a chemical composition of a secret of an udder, that is signals about fall of dairy efficiency. However the increase in number of somatic cages can be caused and other factors, in particular approach of the last stage of pregnancy. It is established that on level of capacity of biologically active centers of cows it is possible to estimate with a high share of probability quantity of somatic cages in milk for the purpose of further technological differentiation of milk raw materials.
